TSMA Membership

The Tarpon Springs Merchants Association (TSMA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the community of Tarpon Springs and the promotion of Tarpon Springs businesses. The mission of the TSMA is to improve and promote the welfare and the growth of the City of Tarpon Springs. The Association will:

  • Promote businesses and services available in Tarpon Springs
  • Participate in shaping the current and emerging business environment
  • Unify member businesses, recognizing there is strength in numbers
  • Develop a calendar of events to promote members and their businesses

There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Tarpon Springs Merchants Association. Included below are the highlights of your membership:

  • Network opportunities to learn what is occurring in the business community, changes that may be happening within the City of Tarpon Springs.
  • Advocacy for business specific needs within the community.
  • Discounted participation opportunities in TSMA sponsored festivals such as First Friday, Hippie Fest, and Seafood Festival.
  • Specific merchant focused events such as TSMA Wine Walk to interact with the community in your business location.
  • Online advertisement on TSMA website as well as promotion of your events through our social media.
  • Opportunity to get involved with specific community events and committees within the TSMA.
  • $100 advertising credit with the Tampa Bay Times.

Membership Opportunities

The Tarpon Springs Merchants Association offers multiple levels of membership. We believe the more people who participate and promote the organization, the more successful and enjoyable our community will be. Annual Renewal Membership is due January 1st of each year for a calendar year.

  • General Membership: Membership is open to any business within the City of Tarpon Springs that maintains a City license and has a brick-and-mortar business.
    • $150 annually, each additional business location is $75
  • Associate Membership: Membership is open to any business within the city of Tarpon Springs that maintains a City license. This membership is for non brick and mortar businesses.
    • $75 annually
  • Honorary Membership: The Board of Directors reserves the right to honor citizens of the community who work to improve and promote the Tarpon Springs Merchants Association.
    • $50 annually

Membership Voting: Privileges shall be extended to all General Membership members. Each membership is allowed to cast one vote, regardless of additional business locations. Additionally, Non-Officer Board of Director members may cast one vote.

General, Associate or Honorary Membership may serve as a non-officer position. Only General Membership members may serve in an Executive Board position
